Last Wednesday, I attended Jimmy Choo’s ‘Shoot for Change store event benefiting Shoot for Change’s Scholarship at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre.  Thanks to the lovely Walter Grio, founder of Shoot for Change, for inviting me!

I was the first to arrived to the Chevy Chase store and was greeted with staff and champagne. I made my way to the Cruise collection, admiring the gorgeous items.  After what seems an eternity, I finally made my way over to the Spring/Summer Collection, where I laid my eyes on the most beautiful clutch I have ever seen! The  python texture combined with brown leather. I could not stop looking at the clutch! So much beauty in one clutch–Only at Jimmy Choo. I then realized that this clutch had been a favorite among celebrities –Which I can see why–for some time.

Take a look below:

(The Leather Python ‘Jasmine’ Clutch)

This clutch can cost you $ 1,695.  I am not a person who spends money on items that will eventually be tossed aside for the new trend, but this is one valuable item I can see myself wearing season after season.

Soon after, the crowd grew and food by Occasions Caterers passed along delicious bites. We tasted Macaroons, Macaroni &  Cheese with BBQ chicken balls, and Lobster mini rolls–just to name a few.

Upstairs, Walter Grio took photos of the guests (For a 20$ dollar purchase or donation to SFC) at Nival Salon & Spa.

Towards the end, I caught up with guests and interview a few fashionable folks. I met the sweet  Miranda Smyre, from NBCWashington’s The Scene.  I also met the lovely Marketing Director, Therese Quiao & Fashion Blogger, Baillie Gelwicks.

One thing I learned from this fashionable event? Shopping CAN make a difference!
