Kentucky Derby Party at Saxon + Parole

In honor of its equestrian namesake, Saxon + Parole (www.saxonandparole.com), will be having their 2nd annual Kentucky Derby bash this year to celebrate the 143rd Run For the Roses! The festivities will be taking place at the restaurant (316 Bowery) on Saturday 5/6 from 3-7pm. You can do betting on Sbo as well. Tickets are $120 and includes lots of food, booze and fun:

• Juleps galore!: Unlimited selection of mint juleps prepared by Saxon + Parole’s award-winning bar team including head bartenders Masa Urushido and Maxime Belfand – including the classic and some seasonal variations (*seasonal juleps available upon request)
• Oysters, Pulled Pork, Fried Chicken, Oh my!: Unlimited bites from the Saxon + Parole kitchen – chefs Brad Farmerie and Nicole Gajadhar – including oysters, shrimp / seafood towers, fried chicken, whole roasted suckling pig, salads, cotton candy, pies and more
• Beer and Bubbles!: In addition to the julep selection, ticket prices include unlimited bubbles and beer as well
• Live Bluegrass Band
• Games and prizes: Good old fashioned horse-race betting with some very Saxon + Parole-esque prizes
• And of course, a live feed of the race itself – the most exciting 2 minutes in sports!
