Adding to the plethora of events going on for New York Fashion Week, Megan Isaacs Jewelry hosted a celebration at CV Lounge this past Wednesday, September 15th, 2010.

Models donned the South African heritage inspired jewelry while guests chatted and mingled.  Included in the celebrations were CV owner (and the designer’s brother) Matthew Isaacs , former Miss Cayman Island Ambuyah Ebanks, Vincent Romeo, Sabrina Mashburn, Ed Steinberg, and Danielle Degregory. The celebration ended with a performance by recording artist Aloe Blacc singing the HBO series theme song, How to Make It In America.

The designs are handcrafted with various semi-precious stones and bold shapes of sterling silver, along with a unique sense of style.

Megan Isaacs Jewelry is both simple and daring. Designed to echo the form and texture of large-scale sculpture, each piece is a work of wearable art. Megan’s traditional and contemporary design can both stand alone as artwork and complement today’s fashion.”

Pieces from her debut collection have been featured at Africa’s Fashion Week and in CW’s Gossip Girl, as well on Elle.com.  And we all know that anything on Gossip Girl is fantastic, so this is surely not an exception!

Yours,
Von
