On Thursday, December 10th, Gotham Magazine presented the highly anticipated NYC Premiere of Tennessee Williams’ “The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond.”
Gracing the red carpet was lead actress, Bryce Dallas Howard with her father, director Ron Howard, Academy Award Winner Ellen Burstyn, Jessica Collins, Mamie Gummer, Zoe Perry, Laila Robins, John Shea, Marin Ireland, Sienna Miller, Jason Binn and Director, Jodie Markell.
A flawless Bryce Dallas Howard stunned photographers and noted how happy she was for the incredible opportunity to play Fisher Willow, the 1920’s Memphis debutante- a dramatic and romantic role which is already receiving Oscar-worthy buzz.
Director Ron Howard is busy working on a range of things, although couldn’t go into specifics. He was proud to attend the premiere to support his talented daughter, while the charming Ellen Burstyn, a long-time fan of Tennessee Williams’ work, gave a moving performance in the film- as always.
The after party took place at New York’s famed Oak Room at The Plaza Hotel where VIP guests enjoyed cocktails courtesy of Asahi Beer, Orzel Vodka, Xante Liqueur and Misiones D’ Rengo Winery and food prepared by the Oak Room’s executive chef, Eric Hara.
