NewYork.com’s 5-Day, 5-Borough Dash for Cash

Monday, July 28 – Friday, August 1

On Monday, July 28th, 2014, NewYork.com will kick off a 5-Day, 5-Borough Dash for Cash giving away a total of $5,000 in gift cards redeemable for Broadway and theater tickets, music, entertainment, and more, such as: NYC Nightclub Experience, Rooftop Lounge Experience, NY Harlem Jazz Night Tour,Mixology Tour, Gossip Girls Tour, TMZ Tour, Soho and Nolita Chic Boutique Shopping Tour, NY TV and Movie Sites Tour

Each day 10 gift cards containing $100 per card will be hidden in public places according to borough, in this order:

  • Monday – Brooklyn
  • Tuesday – Bronx
  • Wednesday – Queens
  • Thursday – Staten Island
  • Friday – Manhattan

NewYork.com will be sharing clues as to where each gift card is located using Google+ (plus.google.com/+NewYork/) and Twitter (@NewYork.com). The day before the hunt, NewYork.com will announce what time the first clue will be given on the day of the hunt. On the day of, NewYork.com will share one clue per hour for the first three hours and then will share a round of “final clues” at 5 p.m. if gift cards haven’t been found yet. The winners will be asked to take a photo with the “hidden cash” and share it on NewYork.com’s Google+ page (plus.google.com/+NewYork/).

Each day, 10 gift cards containing $100 each will be hidden in public places according to borough, one borough per day. A total of $5,000 in gift cards are redeemable for Broadway shows, Yankees tickets, events, attractions, and more at NewYork.com.
