Last week on Wednesday, August 1st, ONE Management founder, Scott Lipps, feted his birthday while marking the first anniversary of his blog, POPLIPPS, at TOY restaurant at the Gansevoort Meatpacking.

The birthday boy and VIPs guests like Stephen Baldwin, photographer Mick Rock, designer Erin Fetherston, nightlife impresario Nur Khan, and The Hills Lo Bosworth packed into the hot new eatery, with loads of pretty models in attendance, naturally. Sadly, most of the “elite” models of ONE, like stunners Bar Refaeli, Claudia Schiffer, Iman, and Selita Ebanks were not in attendance, although we hear some top clients like Devon Aoki and Paz de la Huerta attended his surprise birthday party at Kenmare.

Partygoers tried to stave off the summer heat by sipping custom themed cocktails and listening to throwbacks from the 80s spun by DJ Lincoln Madley before the ex-Hole drummer Lipps cut into his appropriately drum-shaped birthday cake presented by TOY’s Derek and Daniel Koch. While this party was definitely one of the hottest tickets in town, it was not one to be fashionably late for – the drink bracelets were gone after thirty minutes.
