Last year, all my childhood dreams came true at Figure Skating in Harlem‘s 2010 Skating with the Stars Gala seeing Kristi Yamaguchi in all her figure skating glory.
I am excited to be attending this year’s 2011 gala once again where avid supporters of FSH and skating celebs come together to celebrate such a wonderful organization that empowers young girls through education and ice skating.
A slew of Olympic and World Champions that are said to be in attendance include: Sarah Hughes, Evan Lysacek, Dorothy Hamill, Sasha Cohen, Johnny Weir, Tanith Belbin & Ben Agosto, Meryl Davis, Charlie White, Todd Eldredge, Rachael Flatt, Emily Hughes, Mirai Nagasu, and Joannie Rochette. Eeee!
In addition to all of the skating stars you’ll see, tickets to the gala include dinner and skating (face-plants optional). Scroll down to read all about the gala, and we’ll see you at the rink!
Yours,
Von
