Obscured on the streets of Manhattan’s trendy Meatpacking District lays STK, a trendy and popular steakhouse, which is usually frequented by celebrities and NYC socialites. To help kick off summer as well as the Memorial Day weekend, Socially Superlative was invited to come and enjoy specialty cocktails and food cooked on the outside grill on the rooftop.

With a beautiful décor and a bird’s eye view of the High Line, the weather was perfect to hold the event and network with fellow colleagues over delicious cocktails. The sun exposed deck could easily fit anywhere from around 150-200 guests (great for having private events). There are dining tables on the rooftop and couches if anyone would like to have dinner or brunch while over looking the Hudson River. There is also a full service bar as well as kitchen on the rooftop as well. To top it all off STK has an amazing view from the rooftop that makes you remember why you fell in love with NYC in the first place.

Waitresses served us with specialty cocktails such as the house made Sangria, and servers brought out scrumptious treats such as lobster rolls with avocado, mini cheeseburgers, mac and cheese, and tuna tar tar served as tacos. Everything was absolutely enjoyable!

If you want to a have a private event held in the evening, which would not be a problem as there are lights hung around to light the ambiance of the rooftop. With the STK’s logo spotlighted on the wall. I had an amazing night and hopefully this is a start to a fun filled summer!
