As always, Tadashi Shoji wins you over with his perfectly feminine and beautiful collection. Every time I see one of his shows I fall a little more in love with his designs. Be it fall/winter collections or spring/summer collections the dresses are out of this world, classic designs that always seem to have his special touch. He has designs that do not have to follow the times, the time follows his designs.
His collection was clearly inspired by the early 20th century and as he described it himself he was inspired by the Russian empires rise and fall. It was interesting to see how current he had made his collection with the styling and details of the dresses which as always looked impeccable.
Tadashi Shoji has dressed celebrities such as Beyoncé and Octavia Spencer and now it seems that Ashley Simpson is interested in his beautiful dresses as well, who was sighted at his show for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
The Stage at MBFW was packed and with good reason, you can always count on Tadashi Shoji giving a perfect show and showing us the way for the new season with his ready to wear collection, even ready for the red carpet.
