Taste of Tribeca hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event at Bouley Botanical.
Bouley has been a participant since the inception of the event, so it only made sense to host the party at one of Bouley’s newest locations in the heart of Tribeca. The country house feel of the space was the perfect setting for the sophisticated occasion.
Bouley did what they do best, and served expertly crafted cocktails and small bites that packed big flavor. Cocktails with seasonal ingredients, named La Vida Buena, Southside of the Border, 234 Sherry Cobbler, and Bouley Danube, were passed around to guests. Mini avocado tacos, duck confit spoonfuls, mini dessert plates and more made up the menu for the night.
Awards were given out to those restaurants that have made the largest contribution to the cause over the past 20 years and recipients gave heartfelt speeches about how important the event is to the kids and to the Tribeca community.
Taste of Tribeca is an outdoor culinary event that Tribeca staples like, Tribeca Grill, Walkers, Bubby’s Tribeca, Duane Park Patisserie, Gigino Trattoria, The Odeon, of course, Bouley, and more participate in.
All proceeds from the event contribute to the continuation of arts programs at local schools PS 150 and PS 234. For more information and to keep up to date on next year’s event, please visit: http://tasteoftribeca.com.
