I love art, meeting people, and I especially love a good party. You can bet your bottom dollar that I was the happiest peach in the room at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Young Member Party 2010.
I had heard that these parties are pretty epic and I have to concur. YMP2010 was filled to the brim with good looking, well connected, art-loving New Yorkers, and a few from Connecticut, surprisingly enough.
There were cocktails and dancing in the Carroll and Milton Petrie European Sculpture Court, which holds some of the Met’s most beloved masterpieces. If that wasn’t enough for your Gossip Girl loving heart and mind there was also the opportunity to socialize on the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden. It was the perfect place to admire the Manhattan skyline and view the special exhibition Doug + Mike Starn on the Roof: Big Bambú.
If you didn’t get enough of watching the impeccably dressed patrons indoors, there was also the opportunity to enjoy The Costume Institute’s special exhibition, American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity, which was open for an exclusive viewing during the party.
There were so many amazing folks there to speak to including Chris Luna , Dating and Relationship Coach of www.CraftofCharisma.com. I’m hoping to work with him on a future project. Stay Tuned!
