The Pink Agenda, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to raising funds for the prevention and cure of breast cancer hosted a silent auction benefit in the Lower East Side at the historic Angel Orensanz Arts Foundation.

The gala event attracted a young and successful crowd who were willing to donate $1,000s of dollars on items that were getting auctioned off for the cause.  Some of the more thrilling auction items included tickets to the Oscars and box seats at Jets, Giants, Yankees, Rangers and Knicks games.

Along with a tastefully catered bar featuring a fair share of pink bubbly the guests were treated to a performance by the beguiling Alexis Foxe.  A noted performer of Cuban and Colombian descent, she is a tall and tawny paradox who sings a cinematic nostalgia that is one part Amy Winehouse and two parts Goldfrapp.  Following the bewitching performance The Pink Agenda instigated another heated round of auctions and provided some inspiring personal testimonies of struggling through cancer or suffering through the loss of someone close.

For the revelers who weren’t quite ready to wrap up the evening at the end of the gala there was an exclusive invitation to Chloe for an after-party of bubbles and beats. Another complement to the evening was the parting gift of $25 gift cards to GILT.  All in all, a great evening inspired by a noble cause.
