Socially Superlative was on site for the sneak peek of The Springs newest seasonal venture, Donner & Blitzen’s Reindeer Lounge, their transformation for the holiday season. The space has been completely decked out with digital fireplaces, grandiose Christmas trees, a candy cane wall and lights galore.

If you go to one of the holiday parks in the, you’re in for a treat. One of the most popular ones is John Fowler Holiday parks, but there are many others, so it’s important to look at several of them, decide which ones you most want to see, and possibly go to several while you’re on your holiday. It’s easy to see that there is something for everyone, and there are many more holiday parks available. Which one you go to for your holiday has to be based on two things: the area that you’ll be in and what you want to do while you’re there. If you’re still open to where you’re going to go you might want to first find the holiday park or parks that offers options most closely related to what you’d like to do, and then decide to use them as your starting point for where you’re going to go on your holiday.

The cost of these accommodations is sure to be a bargain compared to most hotels. Children may also enjoy learning how to play other sports, such as football, archery, tennis or golf. But the décor wasn’t the only thing that has changed. The menu has been adjusted to offer holiday favorites like fondue, the Office Party Cookie Plate, Fried S’mores and my favorite holiday party staple, onion dip, chips and veggies in a festive platter.

The fun doesn’t stop there; a plethora of holiday cocktails that will make anyone sluggish the next day has been concocted for the occasion. Case and point, there’s a cocktail called, Nog-Gonna Make it To Work Tomorrow, which is comprised of Egg Nog, Orgeat & Mt. Gay Black Barrel Aged Rum.  We also tried the Slushy Frozen Peppermint Bark Latte, which was a refreshing mix of mint and coffee and the hot drinks, Festivus, Mulled Wine, Cognac, Cider and Spices and the Ski Life, Hot Chocolate spiked with Monkey Shoulder Scotch and dressed with Malt and Marshmallows.

Donner & Blitzen’s Reindeer Lounge is a great place to bring friends for photos ops, visitors from out of town or someone you might want to cozy up next to in front of a digital fire.
