The Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic
On Saturday, June 2, 2012, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will be held at a new venue, the beautiful Liberty State Park. One of the most highly-anticipated events of the season, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic attracts a chic, fashionable crowd from around the globe.
Guests are invited to watch world-renowned polo player and event co-host Nacho Figueras and his team, Black Watch, go head-to-head against some of the best polo players in the world, all while sipping Veuve Clicquot and enjoying food offerings from Silkstone, well known for chic farm-to-table establishments, The Fat Radish in New York City and Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk. Set on the idyllic grounds of Liberty State Park, a quick 10 minute ferry ride from Manhattan, this green oasis offers spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, making it one of the area’s most beautiful and dramatic parks and an ideal location for this year’s Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic.
Tickets to attend the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic are $25, which includes round-trip ferry transportation from Battery Park Pier, Gangway 3 in Battery Park, Manhattan or shuttle service from the New Jersey Transit Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, Liberty State Park Station. Tickets must be purchased in advance; there will be no opportunity to purchase tickets onsite.
