On Wednesday, March 14th, 2012, Yorkville Common Pantry hosted its annual Benefit at Guastavino’s in New York City.  The event was a great success with many long-time supporters coming out to celebrate their favorite organization.

Guests enjoyed appetizers and champagne cocktails while perusing the silent auction filled with goodies including Bruce Springsteen tickets and box seats to the US Open.  Jonathan Batiste and The Stay Human Band lead guests to their dinner seats with an uplifting modern jazz march.

Master of Ceremonies, WNBC Sports Anchor Bruce Beck welcomed guests and helped YCP recognize three important honorees who each received the Community Service Award.

Since 1981, Yorkville Common Pantry (YCP) has been dedicated to reducing hunger while promoting dignity and self-sufficiency.  YCP champions the cause of the hungry through food pantry and meal distribution programs, nutrition education, basic hygiene services, homeless support, and related services.
